The Wickham Conducting Weekend

                           with

                   Denise Ham

            5th - 7th March 2010

                                   at

        Wormstall Park House near Newbury

A popular annual weekend, the ideal preparation for the forthcoming Conductors Course at Canford Summer School of Music, or a refresher for what has been learned at a previous Canford.  For many it has been an ideal first-time introduction for aspiring conductors eager to learn about essential, practical, basic technique on which to build their musical interpretation.  Some students return regularly for this course alone.

The course is open to 12 participants, plus observers.  The observers take part in technique sessions but don't receive individual tuition. However they can have a short lesson with an orchestra made up from the class.

Llyr Williams is the pianist.
